Vanmark’s Model 2421 is the most efficient peeler/scrubber/washer in its class and is ideal for today’s food industry. This machine is designed for durability and ruggedness for around-the-clock operation. It will handle up to thousands of pounds of root crops, vegetables or fruits per hour.
Product enters the inlet chute and is cleaned or peeled by rollers which repeatedly contact and tumble the product until it exits the machine. The amount of material removed is fully controlled by a combination of roll type, roll speed and discharge gate setting.
Features include: sanitary shape, easy access to peeling chamber, virtually maintenance free drive, and Vanmark’s quick-change roll system. The simple to use inverter includes a user-friendly integrated control that enables fast “plug-in and drive” start-up.
The machine is a rugged design for the processor who is running a few hundred pounds per hour continuously or running several batches per day as needed. When filled with the optional batch gate the machine can run on demand.
Available options include: drain pan, revering rolls for specialty applications, batch gate discharge, and a wide variety of abrasive, brush, and other roll types specific to your application and processing needs.
